Counselling Service
Event/service information
This confidential counselling service is available to anyone affected by MS. This could be the person diagnosed with MS, family members, carers or friends. It is up to you and your counsellor what you talk about.
Counselling may initially seem daunting however it can help you see things more clearly and can assist with:
• Making important decisions.
• Looking at problems from a different perspective.
• Moving through loss and change.
• Acceptance/understanding of circumstances and self.
• Developing healthier relationships.
• Unlocking painful feelings and allowing you to move forward.
You will initially be offered 6 sessions, however you may require more or less. This is assessed on an individual basis. Each session lasts for 1 hour.
