Christmas Carol Concert at St Paul’s Cathedral
We returned to St Paul’s Cathedral for this year’s magical Christmas Concert on Tuesday 7 December 2021.
Event/service information
Many of you joined us for an evening of music, carols and readings to welcome in the festive season and raise money for our ambitious Stop MS Appeal.
We were delighted that distinguished author Alexander McCall Smith had written a selection of poems for the evening.
Guests also enjoyed an exclusive performance by the Royal Ballet, who will perform an extract from “The Cellist”, which tells the story of the life of Jacqueline du Pré.
And there were performances from world-class soloists: Dame Sarah Connolly DBE, Freddie de Tomasso and Michael Mofidian alongside the St Paul’s Cathedral Choir.
With thanks to Royal London Group for their generous sponsorship of the event.
Listen back
You can hear the concert again on Classic FM on Wednesday 23 December at 8pm.
