Gillian was 29 when she received her diagnosis
Whilst waiting for treatment she found out about, and signed up for, the Future MS research project in Scotland (now closed to new recruitment), which aims to predict the course of someone’s MS.
Manisha is a writer and Spanish translator. She was already familiar with the impact MS can have on someone before her own diagnosis of relapsing MS in 2011, as she had already seen one of her sisters as well as a cousin be diagnosed. In her spare time, she enjoys being active and outdoors, cycling and hiking when possible. She also enjoys more sedate hobbies such as knitting, sewing and crafting when the weather isn't so good!
Jessica was diagnosed with relapsing MS at the end of 2015, after an episode of optic neuritis. Her MS treatment has helped her to stop relapsing. She's supporting the Stop MS Appeal to make sure everyone can get treatments that stop or slow their MS.
