As a Group Coordinator you'll take the lead in making sure your group works as effectively as possible. You’ll recruit and support volunteers, act as an ambassador, develop annual plans and lead your group’s activities.

As our local group Finance Volunteer you’ll make sure your group gets the most for their money. You’ll maintain income and expenditure records to document and report on group finances. You’ll manage their accounts and make financial information easy to understand.

As a Health and Safety Volunteer you’ll make sure your members are aware of their health and safety responsibilities. You’ll help them understand and follow guidelines and procedures to keep everyone safe at your events.

Getting out and about can be a challenge for some of our community. As a Transport Volunteer, you’ll use your local knowledge to help everyone with MS living locally access our services, activities and events.

As our Communications Volunteer you’ll make sure people know they have a local group to turn to. We'll make sure you've got everything you need to write and edit newsletters, respond to inquiries, and manage your group’s social media accounts.

Our empathetic and impartial Support Volunteers use their excellent listening and interpersonal skills to provide support to people with MS, their family, friends and carers. Whether over the phone, on email or face to face, your time will make a real difference to the people you help.

Our Administration Volunteers are the linchpin for our local groups’ activities. You'll act as the first point of contact for local people with MS and the people who care for them. And you'll keep our data and group information up to date so we can stay in touch.

Our Activities Volunteers create and coordinate our local groups' annual calendars of events. We need people with a can do attitude, a practical outlook and lots of enthusiasm to help people with MS get involved in local group activities. Does that sound like you?

Our Volunteer Drivers help people with MS get to activities using our group minibuses and vans. We're looking for friendly reliable people with driving experience to help our local group members get out of the house and socialise.

As our Passenger Assistant Volunteer you’ll make sure people affected by MS are comfortable during their journey, helping them in and out of our mini buses. We'll support you to learn how to manoeuvre wheelchairs and use the vehicle clamping system.

As our Living Well Facilitator you’ll help deliver sessions supporting people to manage their MS. You’ll use your experience of living with MS to plan, organise, deliver and review the programme.
