Recycling for Good Causes
Recycle unwanted and broken jewellery, gadgets and banknotes of any currency to raise money for our work.
Our partners at Recycling for Good Causes will reuse and recycle your unwanted jewellery, gadgets and banknotes. The proceeds will help fund our work and saving precious raw materials at the same time.
Recycle jewellery, gadgets and currency for charity
You can recycle all of the following — even if items are damaged or broken:
- Jewellery (any material, wearable or broken)
- Watches
- Gadgets (for example, mobile phones, cameras, Satnavs, game consoles, tablets, MP3 players)
- Foreign currency (coins or notes from any country, any age)
Send your items by post
- Use your own envelope or jiffy bag no bigger than A5 (148 x 210 millimetres or 5.82 x 8.26 inches)
- Post free of charge by printing out the freepost label below and attaching to your envelope.
Please don't send coins to the freepost address as the postage costs will be more than your donation.
Donate your old stamps
You can donate your used stamps to raise money. All kinds of stamps are welcome, on or off paper.
Simply cut or carefully rip the postage stamp from the used envelope, being careful that you don’t damage the stamp. Once you have a collection, post them to:
MS Society
PO Box 16992
Sutton Coldfield
B73 9YA
You'll need to pay for postage
Recycling for Good Causes will arrange collections for larger quantities of stamps weighing over 10kgs. That's about two buckets full of stamps.
