This includes increasing the number of neurologists, specialist nurses and allied health professionals, so everyone can access the care they need. It also means ending the postcode lottery by fully implementing the Quality Statement for Neurological Conditions. And ensuring that care is fair and consistent no matter where you live.
We're also asking for greater access to neurological rehabilitation and mental health services. Alongside increased investment in neurological care and social support - including vital support for unpaid carers.
A fairer future for people living with MS
People living with MS are being left behind. They face long waits for specialists, a lack of mental health support and financial strain from extra costs. Whoever comes into office must commit to improving neurology care and access to treatments.
Together, we can build a fairer, healthier future for everyone affected by MS in Wales.
