Legal advice service for people with MS
Sometimes you may need legal advice to help you know if you are being treated fairly, to understand your rights in a situation, or to challenge unfair practice. Our legal advice service can help.
We fund the Disability Law Service (DLS) to provide a legal service that offers free, confidential advice to people affected by MS. This service covers these key areas of law in England and Wales only:
- Disability discrimination
- Community care
The MS Legal Officer cannot offer advice about other areas of law (like criminal or family law) and cannot advise people living in Scotland or Northern Ireland.
The MS Legal Officer can be reached by phone, email or post. The service can get very busy. So you may need to leave a message and wait for a reply.
