Staying Active with MS - Swimming

Doing things together is a great way to feel connected. This peer support group is a chance to chat about ways to stay and keep active.

Our Moving Together with MS sessions are now Staying Active with MS sessions. These monthly events are part of our peer support group sessions which means they are led by two of our fantastic volunteers. Join them as they talk about how getting physically active has helped them to take control of their own wellbeing.

In these sessions we discuss different ways you can try to get and keep active as well as share hints and tips on ways to keep motivated. Each month we'll look at a different activity or interest, sometimes with a short exercise session or video included.

This month we'll be discussing swimming and hydrotherapy. We'll be joined by volunteer Rachel who will talk about her experience of living with MS and wild swimming.

Our Staying Active with MS sessions usually run the first Monday of the month from 6pm to 7pm. So whether you want to keep physically or functionally active, why not join us and connect with others from across the UK living with MS?

What will I need to take part?

All you need to join in is a laptop/tablet/phone/computer with a stable internet connection to use Zoom, the video meeting software we use.

What if I haven’t been sent the link?

Reminder emails are sent out from the Living Well team and Eventbrite with the link. These emails may go into your spam or junk folder so please check before the sessions start that you can find it. Alternatively, you can access the link by logging into your Eventbrite account.

What should I do if I can no longer attend?

If you can't make it, please email [email protected] so we can offer your place to someone else.
