Bladder
As many as 9 in 10 people with MS may get a bladder problem at some point. They can have a big impact on your mood, sleep, energy levels, social life, and sex and relationships.
It pays to get a bladder problem looked at sooner rather than later. Most can be managed. Speak to a nurse from your local bladder and bowel service about treatments. This is called a continence service in some places.
Bladder problems in MS are sometimes called ‘neurogenic bladder’. This is the medical term for when nerve damage causes bladder issues.
