Benefits and MS (booklet)

MS can have a big impact on your finances. If you've got MS, or you're a carer for someone who has, it's worth checking if you can claim any benefits, tax credits or other help such as cheaper travel or help with fuel costs. This is true if you're working, too.

And it's worth checking the benefits situation again from time to time, especially when MS symptoms get worse. This booklet is a useful place to start.

You'll see what benefits are available and which ones you might qualify for. Benefits are going through big changes with new ones like Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payment taking the place of old ones. This booklet explains them all and lists places you can get specialist advice from.
