Kirsty was diagnosed with relapsing MS in 2009 and started volunteering for the MS Society in 2012.
She lives in the Scottish Borders with her husband Scott. As well as volunteering as a living well course facilitator, Kirsty is an active member of her local MS group.
She recently graduated from the Open University with a degree in psychology and loves reading and spending time with her friends and family in her spare time.
Kirsty tells us about what her role as a Communications Volunteer entails. And how she’s used her lived experience to encourage younger people to join her group.
