Hydrotherapy

Hydrotherapy involves special exercises carried out in a warm-water pool by a qualified physiotherapist.

If you are affected by MS, you may find that water therapy is the best way to stay physically active. The buoyancy of water helps to support weak limbs, making them feel lighter. Water also provides resistance, which helps to strengthen muscles. It may be easier to stand in the water than on dry land, and there is a lower risk of injury due to a fall.

These sessions take place at Brinscall Swimming Pool. If the hoist is out of order at Btrisncall the sessions will be at All Seasons swimming pool in Chorley. We will updated attendees if there is change.
