Our MS Help team are now on webchat
Our MS Help team gives emotional support and information to everyone affected by MS. And we're now available to talk through webchat. You’ll chat to the same team as you would if you call us - no robots here.
Where can you find us?
The webchat button is on the bottom right corner of the following pages:
Click the button to start the service and speak to a member of our team.
When are we online?
We’re online Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm except public and bank holidays.
What can you speak to us about?
We know everyone’s MS is different and the impact of MS can change over time. We also know MS affects more than just people with a diagnosis. We’re here to make sure no one has to face MS alone.
We’re here to support:
- people with MS
- people worried about MS
- people going through diagnosis
- people who are newly diagnosed.
- carers, friends and family
- employers and professionals.
We provide emotional support and information on a range of topics, including:
- symptoms
- current research
- diagnosis
- accessing services
- support and benefits
- getting in touch with the MS community
While we can offer information and support, we're not medically trained. Most of us aren't qualified benefits advisers, though you can ask to talk to our Benefits Adviser.
We can’t tell you what to do, but we can explore your options with you. We're here to help you to make the best decision for your situation. And, if appropriate, direct you to the right service for you.
The information we provide is always accurate, evidence-based and up to date.
Is this chat private?
Yes. Your chat is private and anonymous unless you choose to share details that can help us support you.
We occasionally monitor enquiries for training and quality purposes, but all contact to the MS Help team is confidential, in keeping with the our safeguarding policies.
