Policy and Communications

BeckyBecky Duff, Head of Communications, Campaigns and External Relations 

Becky leads the communications, campaigns and external relation team in Scotland. She is also the out of hours press contact for the Scottish Office.

 

 

 

Niall Sommerville, Policy, Public Affairs & Campaigns Manager

Niall manages our policy, public affairs and campaigns activity in Scotland. This includes parliamentary activity and raising awareness of the work of the MS Society.

 

 

 

Carla Callaghan, Press & PR Officer

Carla is responsible for managing press coverage, writing and generating content, dealing with press enquiries and ensuring we are represented in the Scottish media.

 

 

 

Keith Park - Stuart Resource Centre Manager

Keith Park, External Relations Officer - East Scotland

Keith works with local health and social care organisations and people affected by MS in order to influence and improve treatment, care and support for people living with MS.

 

 

 

Hannah Maunder - Communications Officer

Hannah Maunder, Communications Officer

Hannah provides a range of communications services, including producing content for our magazine, updating our website and managing social media in Scotland.

Coleen manages and develops our self-management programme so that it best meet the needs of the MS community in Scotland.

Susi coordinates the delivery and implementation of the self management programme currently being tested in Scotland. This involves supporting the delivery of self management courses and recruiting and supporting volunteer trainers to facilitate these sessions.

Rosemary makes sure the information in our resources and MS Helpline is relevant to people living with MS in Scotland.

 

 

 

Tracey

Tracey Harrison, MS Active Together Development Lead

Tracey leads a one-year Scottish Government funded project looking at how people affected by MS in Scotland can be more physically active, and how the MS Society can support them.

Fundraising

Nicola leads and supports the fundraising team in Scotland to raise as much money as possible for people affected by MS.

 

 

 

Katie Bruce, Area Fundraiser for West Scotland

Katie is the point of contact for people who want to take part in, establish or find out about an event or how to fundraise for us in the West of Scotland. Katie also works with our local branches to support their fundraising and trust applications.

 

 

 

MarkMark Colley-Davies, Area Fundraiser for East Scotland

Mark is the point of contact for people who want to take part in, establish or find out about an event or how to fundraise for us in the East of Scotland. Mark is also the contact for companies that may wish to have the MS Society Scotland as their Charity of the Year or to support us as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme. He also works with our local branches to support their fundraising and trust applications.

 

 

Gemma Cowan, Fundraising Events Manager

Gemma supports fundraisers who take part in an event for us. She looks after our events portfolio in Scotland, offering a range of opportunities to raise money to help beat MS. Gemma searches for new and exciting events to offer our fundraisers, while encouraging more people to join the MS Superstar team for our key events.

 

RhiannaRhianna Adams, Fundraising and Events Assistant

Rhianna is the first point of contact for people who want to take part in, establish or find out about an event or how to fundraise for the MS Society. She helps our Fundraising and Events Manager support our fundraisers throughout their fundraising experience.
