Cherelle was diagnosed with MS 17 years ago. She tells us about how little she knew about her rights in the workplace when she was first diagnosed. And about her experiences disclosing her MS to employers.

Looking back I believe I’ve had anxiety since I was a child. But I didn’t recognise the symptoms until I was diagnosed with MS 15 years ago.

Cherelle Gardiner is originally from Birmingham and now lives in London. She lives with relapsing remitting MS and was diagnosed 15 years ago, when she was 26. She features as an extra in the Fabio D’Andrea awareness-raising film, Hope Reborn.
