Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy - NHS Community Neuro-rehabilitation Team

County Durham & Darlington Foundation NHS Trust Community Services currently offer assessment and treatment by Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists to people with MS registered with a GP in the North Durham area. They also run yearly MS review clinics. For those people who attend their yearly MS Review clinic they can self refer to the service at any time.
If you are not yet having yearly reviews individuals can be referred by your North Durham GP. The treatment takes place at Chester le Street Community Hospital or Shotley Bridge Hospital.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This service is run by the County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust Community Services. Neither the MS Society nor the MS Society North Durham Group have any involvement nor role in the provision of this service.
