Mindfulness sessions

Mindfulness is the ability to be fully present to what is going on in our lives, aware of where we are and what we’re doing. Mindfulness enables us to tune into the reality of the present moment rather than rehashing the past or imagining the future.

The Nottingham Group offer Mindfulness sessions over Zoom for free but will also be meeting in person once a month at the Dunkirk Community Centre on the following dates:

19th Feb

22th March

15th April

20th May

17th June

Please contact Stuart for details. These in person sessions will also be available via Zoom (technology permitting).

Advice when exercising:

Clear any potential hazards so there’s enough space. Make sure any equipment is suitable for activity.

Drink water before, during and after a session. Take it easy in hot weather.

Take breaks when needed.

Keep your mobile phone near you in case of an emergency.
