Location: Scotland Office, Ratho/home-based
Salary: £29,508 - £31,433 per annum, pro-rata
Closing date: Thursday 28 March, 9am
We put people living with MS at the centre of everything we do, and it’s this commitment that unites us across the UK.
Our vision is a world free from the effects of MS. Our ultimate goal is to find a cure. But until then, we'll do all we can to help people with MS to live life, knowing they don't have to face MS alone. Our strategy is based on what people with MS have told us is important to them. It gives us a clear and determined focus.
We have big aspirations and we need brilliant new people to help us achieve our ambitious goals. Will you join our team to stop MS?
This varied role involves planning and promoting online our local Living Well with MS sessions.
Working alongside people affected by MS you'll also share responsibility for developing and expanding our Living Well with MS programme. You'll be responsible for designing all content, materials and resources for all new and existing services.
You'll have excellent communication skills and will be proactive, highly motivated and exceptionally organised in your approach. You'll also have experience of group work with people with long term conditions, and will have a good understanding of self management models.
For this role you'll need to have a full driving license and access to your own vehicle.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and friendly team at an exciting time in the development of the charity. For more information about the role, please contact Coleen Kelly, Self Management Lead, on 0131 335 4056.
