Get involved: Help transform information and support for the MS community.
Through Project Mead, we’re transforming the services we provide by developing a tailored experience to match the needs of the MS community. And we’re making our services and support accessible to more people than ever before.
To help us do this we'll be working alongside our community to plan, develop and deliver brand new services as well as improving the information and support we already offer.
Who is this opportunity for? People with MS and family member of people with MS. You don't need any previous experience of getting involved.
How long will it take?
There'll be lots of ways to get involved - whether that's taking part in surveys or focus groups, joining co-production groups to design new services, testing new products and services, or representing the voice of our community as a steering group member. There's something for everyone and you can do as much or as little as you like.
We'll discuss how much time is involved so you can decide if taking part is right for you. Most opportunities will take place online but some may be local to you in person.

Help transform info and support for the MS community
Your Voice - Our Voice: Tell us what you want and need
Volunteers from our community are hosting new online events which will bring together different groups of people from across our community, to share your experiences and discuss what information and support you want and need from the MS Society.
The events are causal online drops ins and you can come along to share or just listen. Our volunteers - who have personal experience of MS and the topics being disucssed- will create a safe space where everyone's voice is included and listened to. What you share will help decide what new services we co-produce around the UK, and help us improve existing information and support for everyone. We'll also share opportunities for you to get more involved in co-developing and co-designing these new services.
Currently our volunteers will be hosting online events to look at how we can better support:
- Family members
- People living with Progressive MS
- Parents living with MS
- People living with MS who need support around employment
