Childhood MS – A guide for parents (booklet)

Publish date:
Oct 2013

MS is usually thought of as an adult condition, but children and teenagers can also develop it. It's thought that around five to ten per cent of people with MS experienced their first symptoms before the age of 16.

This booklet is intended to provide answers to some of the questions you may have as a parent of a child with MS. It should help you to understand more about MS, the care your child should receive, and the kind of support you are entitled to in order to manage the changes MS can bring.
