Community & Events Fundraising Manager - Fixed Term Contract

We are seeking an outstanding individual to take joint leadership of the Society’s community and events fundraising programme, on a fixed term contract for six months. As part of an innovative Individual Giving team, you will have a positive impact on raising income from both established and new community and events fundraising opportunities.
With an enthusiastic and creative approach, you will use your knowledge of donor care and sound budgeting and management skills to grow the Society’s supporter-base and develop fundraising opportunities. This role will involve some UK travel.
You will be responsible for ensuring the MS Society maximises income across a diverse portfolio. You will have an excellent track record of managing staff, projects and change as well as building, developing and maintaining relationships with fundraisers.
The responsibilities of the role include personally managing a portfolio of our most valuable fundraisers, providing line management and strategic leadership to members of the team, and developing the product portfolio and related audiences.
Interviews will take place in London on Thursday 10 and Friday 11 May 2012.
