10in10 challenge

Could you tackle 10 peaks in 10 hours? How about 5 peaks in 5 hours?

Challenge yourself to the walk of a lifetime and climb 10, or 5, peaks in the beautiful Lake District on Saturday 21 June 2025. An amazing challenge set in a stunning location.

Since 2011, our supporters Yvonne and Duncan Booth have organised this amazing 10 peaks in 10 hours (10in10) event situated in the lovely Newlands Valley, outside Keswick.

10in10 is very popular, challenging and immensely sociable, with an excellent post-event party!

If you prefer a lighter challenge, there's also the fantastic 5 peaks in 5 hours route (Family 5in5).

This event is organised in aid of the MS Society by supporters Yvonne and Duncan Booth.

10in10 challenge

The 10in10 challenge was created by Yvonne Booth in 2011 after her husband Duncan was diagnosed with MS. She wanted to create a fun and positive challenge to raise money for MS Society.

The hike takes place in the Lake District once a year and participants climb 10 peaks in 10 hours. The route varies slightly year on year, but the views are always glorious. And the sense of community created by the 10 in 10 team is second to none!

Registration fee: £45

Family 5in5 challenge
