6 tips for fantastic fundraising
If you're raising money for us - thank you! Together, we'll stop MS.
1. Set up a JustGiving page
It’s easy to set up, and easy for people to support you. Once you've set up your page, share the link with friends, family and colleagues. And then....
2. Shout about your challenge on social media
We all love a good news story! Let people know what you're doing and how they can help make a difference. Share your posts with us too - tag us in on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram.
3. Get sponsorship forms from us
For those who prefer pen and paper, we've got a helpful little form you can hand out.
4. Tick the gift aid box
However people donate, remind them to tick the gift aid box (if eligible). This means the government gives 25p for every £1 you raise!
5. Put on an event
Get your work place, school or club involved – you could organise a cake sale or dress down day to raise some extra sponsorship (and brighten up everyone’s day).
6. Order fundraising goodies
To make sure your event gets noticed, we’ve got balloons, bunting, flags and more. Get in touch and we’ll send you what you need (they're free!). It’s all bright orange so you’ll definitely stand out.
> Order what you need by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org or give us a ring on 0131 335 4050. We'd love to chat about your fundraising ideas!
