Submit a resolution

We're a democratic organisation: each of our members has an equal say in what we do by voting on resolutions at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Our 2018 AGM gives you the chance to have your say. This year it will be held on Saturday 22 September.

Shape our activities

Could we be doing something different that would have a real impact on the lives of people living with MS?

As a member, it's your right to propose ideas to be included on the agenda. You can do this by submitting a resolution that we will then vote on at the AGM.

How to submit your resolution

To request a resolution form or ask any questions, please contact Amber Esposito by:

  • emailing
  • phoning 020 8827 0470
  • or writing to Amber at MS National Centre, 372 Edgware Road, London, NW2 6ND.

Make sure you get the form back to us by noon on Friday 8 June.

Our Board of Trustees has the final say on whether a proposed resolution is included on the agenda.

Accepted resolutions are printed in the AGM booklet (which is sent out in August) together with a response from the Board of Trustees and the Board's recommendation on how to vote.

You or a representative will have to come to the AGM to speak for two minutes about the resolution and help answer any questions from members.
