Whatever your question about employment and reasonable adjustments, we can help! Join our webinar, where our panel of experts will be discussing these, and many other questions that the MS community has asked.

We will be joined by a panel of experts including Steve Hall, Solicitor and MS legal officer at the Disability Law Service. Steve works with the MS Society to provide advice on employment, discrimination and welfare benefits. We will also be joined by Laura Bosworth founder and director of Worket, with a background in specialist inclusive hiring practices and employer branding. Our panel will also have volunteers with various work backgrounds from teachers to human resources.

This will be your chance to put your questions to our panel and to find out more about what reasonable adjustments can help your return to work.

What will I need to take part?

All you need to join in is a laptop/tablet/phone/computer with a stable internet connection to use Zoom, the video meeting software that we use.

How do I join the webinar?

Before the event, we will send you an email that will have a link to the webinar which is held on Zoom. The email will also tell you how to ask questions and make comments during the webinar. At the time the webinar is due to start, click on the link and you will be taken to the webinar. If the session hasn’t started you will see a message to tell you this. Just hang on and when the session starts you will see 2 or 3 people pop up on your screen.

What if I haven’t been sent the link?

We send an email with a link to everyone who completes the registration form on Eventbrite and books a place. The email we send might go into your spam or junk folder so please check before the meeting starts that you can find it.

When I join the webinar can other people see or hear me?

No, you can’t be seen or heard by other participants.

Can I ask questions?

Yes, usually you can ask questions and make comments. The facilitator will tell participants about how to do this.

Please note we can’t respond or offer advice to questions about your specific circumstances or anything relating to your own personal health. Questions will be collated and we will try to cover your queries if not your specific question.

What should I do if I can no longer attend?

If you find that you are unable to take part please get in touch at [email protected] so we can offer up your place to someone else.

After the webinar you will be invited to take part should you wish in an informal chat session to discuss what you have taken away from the webinar.
