About this event
Join us for our wellbeing sessions to connect you with other people across the UK with MS. We will also be joined by an MS nurse who will be there to answer your questions about changing symptoms.
We're delivering virtual wellbeing sessions to people across the UK. These sessions are a chance to chat, reflect on and share experiences. We'll also look at different ways to support you to live well with MS.
The sessions will take place on Tuesday 8th, 15th and 22nd March from 6.30 to 8.00pm.
What does the virtual session include?
Your sessions will take place over three weeks, one a week. Each session is usually made up of a small group of people from across the UK who have MS. These are fairly informal and each week will have a different topic. Working flexibly and with participants, we tailor each session to meet the needs of the specific group of people taking part.
In the first two sessions, we will have an MS nurse who will come along during the session to answer questions about your changing symptoms. We'll cover:
- 8th March, understanding symptoms
- 15th March, the impact of invisible symptoms
- 22nd March, managing emotions and self care
The sessions work best if you attend all three. This will give you the opportunity to meet other people who may share similar experiences to you. Following on from these you’ll have the opportunity to stay in touch with others online.
What will I need to take part?
All you need to join in is a laptop/tablet/phone/computer with access to a microphone and camera - this will allow you to be seen and heard during the virtual sessions. You will need a stable internet connection to use the video meeting software that we use.
What if I haven’t been sent the link?
We send an email with a link and some reading to everyone who completes the registration form on Eventbrite and books a place. The email we send might go into your spam or junk folder so please check before the sessions start that you can find it.
What should I do if I can no longer attend?
If you find you're unable to take part after registering, please get in touch by email at [email protected] so we can offer up your place to someone else.
We deliver a programme of topical webinars with different events every month. Find out more about our other Living Well services that are available.
