Mindfulness and relaxation
Once a month on a Thursday but date varies - check dates with Huntingdon Therapy Centre staff
Mindfulness is a meditative technique that involves focusing awareness on thoughts and emotions in an open, interested and non-judgmental way. It helps to break the cycle of negative thoughts by concentrating on the present moment, rather than on regret for the past or worries about the future.
If you are affected by MS, practising mindfulness could reduce stress, anxiety and depression by helping you to understand yourself better, and to respond to difficult situations more thoughtfully and calmly.
