Counselling - SUSPENDED DUE TO COVID-19
Emotional and psychological wellbeing
To access the service, please ask your MS Nurse or GP for a referral, clearly stating that you have MS or live with/care for a person with MS. Unfortunately, self referrals cannot be accepted.
MS can be tough to deal with. Whether you have MS yourself or you’re close to someone who does, it can throw a lot at you, often without warning. Counselling can help you come to terms with change and overcome anxiety, depression and other emotional difficulties. It also offers a chance to talk about the problems you face in a way that helps you to understand yourself and how you're feeling.
If you live in Bradford, Keighley, Ilkley or the Skipton and Craven area, we're pleased to tell you that we are able to offer counselling sessions to people affected by MS at a one-off cost to you of £5, which is payable during your initial consultation. All sessions are with our service provider Aire, Wharfe & Craven Counselling in Keighley (although home visits may be possible for those who are housebound).
