The Robbie Dickie fund is a Grant scheme that was set up by the family and friends of young Robbie Dickie who died in a traffic road accident. Its objective is to assist young people (up to age 30) in Ayrshire and Arran whose lives are affected by Multiple Sclerosis, to enable them to realise their life potential to the fullest possible extent. These grants are available to young people either diagnosed with MS or affected by MS by supporting a parent and/or sibling who has the condition.
Applicants may apply for one of the following:
- Health and Wellbeing Grant, for items and activities that will have a significant positive impact on your life.
- Carers Grant, can help fund activities that give unpaid carers a chance to relax or learn new skills
- Bursaries, to help young people whose lives are affected by MS in enhancement of their education. Two of these grants will be awarded annually.
The final adjudication will accord with the Society’s approved grants system.
