VIRTUAL Exercise class - Tuesday morning
The service is aimed at anyone who has MS, their carers and family members. It is mainly chair based, low impact exercise. Participants get an all-over body workout which is based on their individual ability and the aim is to improve general fitness, strength and coordination over a period of time.
Research has proven the general benefits of exercise. Regular movement improves your cardiovascular health, strengthens your muscles and bones and raises your mood. Exercise can reduce the risk of major illnesses and help you to maintain a healthy weight.
If you are affected by MS, the right exercise can make a difference to managing your everyday activities. It can keep your body at its best by maximising mobility, posture and balance. It can reduce pain and fatigue, improve your confidence and reduce depression.
