Virtual Living Well with MS - Tayside

Have you recently been told you have MS? You're not alone.

We're delivering virtual Living Well with MS sessions to people living with MS across Tayside, which offer you the chance to meet other people living with the condition.

The sessions are a chance to chat, reflect on and share experiences. We'll also look at different ways to support you to live well with MS.

Our virtual sessions are made up of 4 modules, each lasting 1.5 hours, which take place over 4 weeks. The dates for each module are 15, 22, 29 of September and 6 October from 11.30am to 1pm.

What do the virtual sessions include?

Each week you will take part in a 1.5 hour virtual meeting with other people living with MS. These are fairly informal and are usually made up of a small group of people who have been living with MS.

Each week we cover a different topic, which can include: fatigue, life balance, stress, preparing for healthcare appointments, setting goals and generally understanding how to live well with MS. We work flexibly and tailor each session to meet the needs of the specific group of people taking part.

Following the sessions you’ll have the opportunity to stay in touch with others online.

We’re delighted to have received funding from the Big Lottery Fund to support this work.

What do I need to take part?

All you need to join in is a laptop, tablet, phone or computer with access to a microphone and camera. You will need a stable internet connection to use the video meeting software that we use.
