Family and Friends Wellbeing Session (Group 3)

Has your family member or friend recently been told they have MS? You're not alone.

We're delivering virtual wellbeing sessions to people affected by MS across the UK. These sessions offer people the chance to meet others with a loved one with MS.

This sessions will be on Wednesday the 9, 16, 23 and 30 of September from 7pm to 8.30pm

What will happen in the sessions?

Each week, over four weeks, you will take part in a 1.5 hour virtual meeting with other people affected by MS. These are fairly informal and are usually made up of a small group of people who have a family member or friend who has recently been diagnosed with MS.

Every week we cover a different topic - from an introduction to MS and thinking about support you need to the impact MS can have on everyday life and telling other people about the diagnosis. The sessions aim to discuss different ways you can support someone to live well with MS.

Working flexibly and with participants, we tailor each session to meet the needs of the specific group of people taking part.

Following the sessions you’ll have the opportunity to stay in touch with others online.

What do I need to take part?

All you need to join in is

  • a laptop, tablet, smart phone or computer with inbuilt, or access to a, microphone and camera. That's so we can see and hear each other in the meetings!
  • a stable internet connection for the video meeting software we use.
