North Wales Information and Support Centre
In 2002, a successful bid to the National MS Society, for funding for an Information & Support Centre within Therapy Services at Glan Clwyd Hospital, Bodelwyddan was made.
The bid was made by Rhyl & District, Colwyn Bay & Llandudno, and Denbigh & District branches, in partnership with Iain Mitchell, Director of Therapy Services at Conwy & Denbighhire NHS Trust.
The Centre had its official opening on 16th July 2003 and is run by a team of dedicated volunteers all with their own experience of MS.
The Centre provides an accessible and up to date service for people with MS, their families and carers and friends. This includes personal advice, reference material, take-away leaflets, internet access and links to other supportive services.
