In 2003 the branch celebrated its 30th anniversary with some of its founder members still serving on the committee.

The committee meets 6 times per year and organise at least 2 branch outings per year at Christmas and in the summer with a meal included. They also organise an annual Coffee Morning – an opportunity to meet friends – as well as a range of other fundraising events, e.g. house to house collections, street collections, sales of badges and Christmas stars.

Their Welfare Officer and sub-committee keep in contact with the membership through home visits, etc.
