The Right to an Ordinary Life? Have your say!

Carers in the S.Wales area or who can get to S.Wales and have been through the assessment process since 1st December 2005 are required for a Research project

Christine Stock is undertaking Postgraduate Research looking the impact of the Carers (Equal Opportunities) Act 2004. The act was introduced by Dr. Hywel Francis MP, and sets out the need to consider in the assessment a carer’s wish to:

• continue or start paid work

• take up education or training opportunities

• participate in leisure activities
