Membership is open to anyone affected by MS or with an interest in the work of the society. Our members include people with MS, their family, friends and carers and health & social care professionals.
You can choose whether to join a branch and enjoy the benefits of direct support and social activities or become a national member and receive MS Matters and MS Linc.

What you get
- MS Matters - a bi-monthly magazine, (English version only) keeping you up to date with every aspect of MS. Recent issues have included articles on: Sex & Relationships, Coping with Teenage MS, and Campaigning and Research Developments.
- MS Linc - Wales' quarterly newsletter with up to date information on; conferences, information days, events, training, MS Cymru, branches and regions in Wales.
- Shaping the work of the Society - take part in the democratic and policy making work of the Society through voting at local and national level.
- Support - meet, talk and gain support from others with MS or from those caring for someone with MS through our network of branches.
- Practical - access to news and information on specialist services, insurance, grants and awards.
- Campaigning -an opportunity to influence health & social care policy relating to MS through the Society's surveys and lobbying
- Value - everything above for only £5 a year
Two types of membership
- Branch Membership - offers a local close knit support network of experienced volunteers.
- National Membership - offers information through MS Matters, but no links with a local branch.
