Community eventsFundraising ideas come in all shapes and sizes, so whether you're organising a coffee morning, golf day or charity night, we can provide you with a range of fundraising materials, advice and encouragement. We love to hear about all the events taking place across Wales to raise money for the Society so please get in touch if you have an idea or would like to get involved with our community events. Imagine yourself soaring through the skies at 10,000 feet, with you in control of a light aircraft and your friends and family in the back seats. If this sounds appealing to you, then join us on Wednesday 3rd September as MS Society Cymru is offering a full day of flying for its members and supporters. Each participant will fly a four seated aircraft for around 30 minutes with a fully qualified instructor. The aircraft and facilities are fully accessible for people with mobility issues and wheelchair users. Spectators are welcome as there is a café/ restaurant to help make the event a nice day out. Come along and join us at: Shobdon Airfield Leominster Herefordshire HR6 9NR Arrival between 10am and 12pm on the day. Full payment of £60 will be required on the day and although there is no minimum for fundraising sponsorship, any money raised can be sent to the MS Cymru office in Cardiff following the event. | |
