Newport & District
The Newport and District MS Society Cymru branch provides support to people affected by MS in the areas of Newport, Islwyn, parts of Caerphilly, Abergavenny, Chepstow, Caldicot, Monmouth and Usk.
All MS Cymru branches provide information, support and advice, as well as helping people affected by MS access local services and therapies. They also provide financial assistance where needed, and offer a chance to meet other people with MS.
The Newport and District branch also provide a number of additional services including a weekly drop-in centre (see below for dates and times). The drop-in gives people affected by MS the chance to hear a programme of speakers, enjoy regular entertainment and get involved in other social activities including quizzes and table games. Laptop computers are avilable for use during the session and MS publications are available to read or take away. Refreshments are served during the course of the morning.
