Why aren't our branch list amendments changed on the central database straight away?
It can take from 30 minutes to three hours to complete a requested branch change on the system and there are over 300 branches..!
Membership send out a "branch list" document to the secretary at the end of every year. It is really helpful if this form is completed promptly and sent back so any changes can be amended. If there are changes to your committee throughout the year though please contact membership straight away to ensure these details are changed. This ensures that each person receives the correct correspondance in relation to their role. (eg. you have recently taken on a role as a Support Officer, you would want to receive information on the "Supporting Support Officers" incentive and the Support Officers introductory pack.
The membership team try to process all "branch lists" and amendments as quickly as they can and in the order they receive them. With your help, by making the amendments and additions as clear as possible, and keeping us up to date throughout the year, we can reduce the length of time the process takes and provide a better service to everyone.
