Grant for a better access to information and support

The MS Society Funding for Information provision programme aims to help ensure that every person who lives with MS has easy access to the latest evidence-based information and local support.

The set up grants can provide up to £1,000 to support the purchase of equipment towards the provision of evidence-based information in health and social care settings or in outreach activities by professionals and recognised not-for-profit MS-oriented bodies.
Ideally applications would be collaborations between health professionals and people who themselves have been affected in some way by MS and supported by a MS Society local representative.

If you know professionals who would welcome the opportunity to get support in providing information in their premises or settings where this grant could benefit people with MS, while meeting the criteria for the grant, please download an application form and support professionals in their application.

Terms & conditions

Applications can be received from professional working in the following settings:

  • Where people receive a diagnosis of MS, or where newly diagnosed people are followed up after the initial diagnosis.
  • Where people affected by MS are in regular or formal contact with specialist health or social care professionals: community centres, rehabilitation centres.
  • Where health and social care professionals run awareness or information outreach activities.
