Disability Living Allowance can make a big difference to people’s lives. Yet it is estimated that fewer than half of all those who are eligible actually claim. This booklet explains if you might be eligible, how to apply, and how to renew any existing claims. It includes a step-by-step guide to filling in the claim form.

The sixth edition includes updates for 2009 and is designed to be used with the DLA claim form in use from 27 October 2008.
