The spectrum of research that we support can be broadly divided into cause, cure and quality of life. The spread of funding between these can be seen in the diagram or figures below with a brief explanation about what each of these divisions mean.
Cause projects investigate what might cause MS or make a person more susceptible to the disease.
Cure projects focus on stopping the progression of MS and finding effective treatments and symptom relief for people with MS.
Applied biomedical and effective service delivery projects focus on improving quality of life for people affected by MS and improving services to better meet these needs.
