Grant Review 2008
1. Full applications should be submitted by mid-day Tuesday 12 February 2008 for the spring round and by mid-day Tuesday 8 July for the Autumn round.
2. All applications will be sent to external peer review. “Applied” applications will also be reviewed by people affected by MS.
All external reviewers’ comments will be made available to the relevant Grant Review Panel for discussion at the formal meeting of the Panel.
3. The relevant Grant Review Panel will assess applications, taking into consideration the external reviewers comments. If the Panel judge that the application could be amended, in order to improve its suitability for funding, then the applicant will be notified and feedback provided. Applicants will then be invited to address these highlighted points in a covering letter and resubmitted application.
Resubmitted applications will be discussed within the the relevant Grant Review Panel and those which have successfully addressed the Panels comments will be recommended to the MS Society Board of Trustees who will make the final decision on funding.
Notification of award will be made on Thursday 10 July 2008 (Spring round) and Friday 5 November (Autum round)
