The Wessex & West Region of the MS Society covers the counties of Dorset, Gloucestershire and Somerset, and the unitary authorities of Bath & North East Somerset, Bournemouth, Bristol, North Somerset, Poole and South Gloucestershire.
The Aims of the Region

The Wessex & West Region aims to support people with or affected by MS, whether members or not. The region is working with professionals to build effective networks and develop services for the benefit of people with MS. Find out more by clicking on the title above.


Regional Committee

Newsletters

The Wessex & West Region produces a newsletter, four times a year, to keep both branch and national members up-to-date with Regional News and Events. This is distributed to members in the 13 branches and 500 national members in the region.

The Region has 13 local branches run by dedicated teams of volunteers. Each branch has a Support Officer (Welfare) who is available for advice, information & support for all people with MS, their carers and their families. Branches hold regular meetings and social events and often have separate groups for the newly diagnosed and younger people.
