Getting Involved

The region is run entirely by volunteers, both national and branch MS Society members, with the help of our Service Development Officer and Local Support Development Officer.
  • Do you have the basic skills we need or are keen to learn?

  • Are you looking for a satisfying part time voluntary job?

  • Are you prepared to give a little time and effort to help the MS Society and people with MS in our region?

Then why not join the Regional Team!

The regional committee meets every six weeks, or so, in order to develop how the region can move forward to meet its full aims. In a dynamic and progressive team, there is always room for new people, as others move on to roles within branches or at national level.

We need you...

Newsletter editors, fundraisers, thinkers, doers, minute takers, letter-writers...you name it, we can make use of your skills.

Whether it be keeping our members up to date with information, administering to the smooth running of the region, or tackling the Health Authorities or PCT's on the provision of health care for people affected by MS, you can help. We especially need right now a Support (Welfare) Liaison committee member.

To discuss how you can help, have a chat with our Local Support Development Officer.
