Our region

Welcome to the Trent Region of the MS Society. We have 20 branches in the region which covers Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Rutland.
Our region has the following nine aims.
  • Ensure that the needs of people with MS are communicated to health
    and social services
  • Campaign on behalf of all people affected by MS
  • Provide practical support to branches in the region
  • Promote common standards of service for people with MS
  • Co-ordinate regional projects and activities
  • Help support and attract volunteers
  • Explore joint fund raising initiatives
  • Make the most of regional resources
  • Share information and experience within the region

To achieve these aims we undertake to:
  • Listen carefully to branches needs and provide useful support
  • Circulate branches with regularly updated lists of agencies, facilities and
    contacts available in our region
  • Host a series of meetings at which our specialists (treasurers, welfare
teams, transport officers, fundraisers, etc) can share ideas and
    proposals.
