About Your Region

The Thames Valley region is one of the 19 regions of the Multiple Sclerosis Society in England and Wales, and is made up of the 13 local branches of the Society in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.
Committee

The Committee of the Thames Valley Region meet regularly at mutually convenient venues around the region.

The 9 Aims

The nine aims of the new regions are to help the Society and its volunteers' do the following things better:

  1. Ensure that the needs of people with MS are communicated to health and social services
  2. Campaign on behalf of all people with MS
  3. Provide practical support to branches in the region
  4. Promote common standards of service for people with MS
  5. Co-ordinate regional projects and activities
  6. Help to support and attract volunteers
  7. Explore joint fundraising initiatives
  8. Make the most of regional resources
  9. Share information and experience within the region.
