A song for Cornwall

May saw the first meeting of a newly-formed MS Support Officers and Nurses Group for Cornwall (SONG). The meeting was well-attended by branch support officers and MS nurses, Julie Collingbourne and Barbara Bale. Participants enjoyed presentations on the MS nurses’ and branch support officers’ roles followed by a very positive discussion on how each might work together in the future to develop and improve services in Cornwall for people affected by MS.
Feedback on the inaugural meeting was excellent and a commitment by all present to continue the group’s activity on an ongoing basis means that a second has been arranged for later in the year. Please contact your branch support officer if you would like the group to consider any particular issue. Non-branch members should contact service development officer, Andrew Kemp.
