How to get involved

The Lancashire, Greater Manchester & South Cumbria region is run entirely by volunteers, both national and branch members, with the help of our Local Support Development Officer.
Do you have something to offer? Could you give a little time and effort to help the MS Society and people affected by MS in our region?

Then why not join the team?

The regional committee meets on the third Monday in February, April, June, August, October, and November (If the meeting falls on a Bank Holiday, we meet on the preceding Monday) at The Ibis, Garstang Road, Preston. PR3 5JE.

In a dynamic and progressive team there is always room for new blood, as people move on to roles within branches or at national level.

Newsletter editors, fundraisers, thinkers, doers, minute takers, letter-writers...you name it, we can make use of your expertise, whether it be keeping our members up to date, arranging meetings, co-ordinating projects, administration, or tackling health authorities and primary care trusts on the health care provisions for people affected by MS.
