Local Support Development Officer

Julie Simmons, Local Support Development Officer for Herts and EssexHi there everyone! My name is Julie Simmons and I am the Local Support Development Officer for Herts & Essex and East Anglia regions. 

I live in the region – in Sawbridgeworth – so hopefully won’t have too much difficulty in tracking you all down, especially with the aid of the modern wonders of ‘sat nav’!


Although I haven’t worked for a charity before, I do have nine years recent public sector experience working with communities at a grass roots level. So when it comes to supporting those of you affected by MS and helping you to progress projects and initiatives that will affect your quality of life, I like to think that I have gained enough transferable skills and knowledge to enable me do so.
